Breguet revives its 1997 volume, “Breguet, Watchmakers since 1775. The Life and Legacy of Abraham-Louis Breguet”, with a second edition, filled with new images, illustrations and stories on their historic timepieces acquired from the Breguet Museum.
Authored by Emmanuel Breguet, the book covers the life and works of founder Abraham Louis-Breguet that has led the established manufacturer to its leadership under President & CEO Marc A. Hayek, where the brand continues to produce innovative and classic timepieces. Within the pages, Breguet commences the historic journey of the watchmaker’s beginnings in France, traversing the timeline from the French Revolution until post-Imperial rule. In more current events, the second edition also dedicates a chapter of Swatch Group founder Nicolas G. Hayek, who was head of the brand from 1999 to 2010.
The second edition of the book “Breguet, Watchmakers since 1775. The life and Legacy of Abraham-Louis Breguet” will be available in all Breguet boutiques worldwide.
